Tabarakallah Kiran! I was immersed in your story telling and absolutely devoured your descriptions of the sunsets. Such a well thought out piece and the thoughts and introspection it leaves the reader with, is something all of us could use. And like you, I love taking pictures of the sky too!

Lovely! Is this a Muslim folktale or a story you created? I am chasing the sparkle myself right now and was just thinking how I should slow down a little bit.

Thank you so much :) I came up with the story while attempting a prompt.

I watched a TEDx (sorry don't remember the reference) but the person suggested writing 100 things you do while multitasking, would like to do and the bucket list. 100 is a lot after 30, we start to struggle but keep on going but the brain feels lighter not carrying all the ideas and to-dos.

In extension What I did was highlight 20 things and distribute 5 projects/to-dos to each quarter. You can monitor it with a spreadsheet, a post-it note by your bedside etc. & carry forward the ones in process or slash the ones you find aren't worth it or you lack resources for the time being.

5 daily things that are just the baseline health or fuel to do things like proper sleep, screen shut down at 10, daily reading, cooking at least thrice a week, conversation/dialogue with family especially kids etc.

The very important thing is to assign a time to sit with you for 5 minutes or 6 or 15. I do it with my daily prayers but you can dedicate time maybe 5 minutes in the parking lot before work or afterwards.

Stick to these and avoid doing extra bits on the days you have time on you

I understand things could be different for people and what's doable for me, could not be possible for you. What I hope is that it helps you in some way to slow down and enjoy your busyness as well.

Thanks again for reading it and your feedback :)
